Revolution9 believe that businesses have a responsibility to play their role in making the world a better place. People and the environment are the key pillars of our social value strategy. We want our organization to be a great place to work and to have a positive influence on the local community. Our social value approach can be split into two key themes:

  • Educational support
  • Environmental

Educational Support

Our staff have come from different experiences and backgrounds and we are keen to share that experience with the next generation coming through into the world of work. We work closely with our friends at the University of Hertfordshire to:

  • Deliver sustainability and EV workshops to give students exposure to a new and growing industry
  • Develop relationships with their smart mobility research group to help them to work in new areas
  • Offer CV review workshop support or careers presentations for students, particularly highlighting career opportunities in SMEs
  • Support the enterprise agenda and encourage students to start their own business

We believe in the lifelong learning agenda and staff are encouraged to undertake training and personal development courses.


We are passionate about recycling and minimizing waste. Wherever possible, we aim to avoid single-use plastics and recycle any office supplies which are viable. We promote the electric vehicle agenda and are active in the mobility-as-a-service space to encourage more sustainable use of assets.
